Here was the story
I had colon surgery 2 years ago. It was pretty scary. I work extensively with alternative therapies and wanted to use these in the operating room to enhance the healing process.
Even though my surgeon, Marybeth Colbert from Park Nicollet Clinic, was not familiar with this, she was open to it. Staff in the operating room at Methodist Hospital (where I had the surgery) were also very supportive.
I had an energy practitioner (Barbara Fermon) in the operating room with me to restructure my energy field as the surgical team operated on my colon. (Restructuring the energy field as a part of surgery speeds the recovery and healing process.) I also requested and played a CD of music that I use to relax.
I personally felt that my healing process was accelerated and enhanced as as result of Barbara's work. I heard confirmation of that from Marybeth a year later when I overheard her tell her staff that she remembered me because of my speedy recovery and leaving the hospital ahead of schedule.
